Pandemic reality has shaken even the biggest players in the business, but for some it has been a valuable boost, while for others it has backed them into a corner. As constraints continue, organisations face a range of challenges in digitisation, service delivery, customer relationship management and more. The innovation platform Urban Tech invites Lithuanian companies and organisations to overcome the challenges, expand their market and develop new services or products together with technology startups.
"This is a great opportunity for organisations to overcome existing challenges for which there are currently no solutions on the market. We identify three main areas where the most promising innovations are born. These are the needs of today's smart city, green energy solutions, and the recent surge in demand for health technologies that address both our physical and emotional well-being," says Tomas Černevičius, Head of Kaunas Science and Technology Park's Operational Organisation Department.
The international Urban Tech platform programme offers the opportunity to benefit from the experience and knowledge of external experts, to accelerate the development of new products, and to find new skilled workers. The most promising solutions to the challenges will be funded with EUR 50,000. The programme has been developed by Estonia, a leader in digital services in Europe, as well as by innovation development service providers in major European countries such as Germany, Finland and Sweden. Kaunas Science and Technology Park is the representative of the program in Lithuania.
