Kaunas STP with Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol has become a part of the TargetSME Consortium, which aims to facilitate partnerships within innovation ecosystems providing communication and marketing tools.
Four IASP members from different countries are collaborating on a European Commission H2020 project. Also, the Consortium includes Poznan Science and Technology Park (Poland) and the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucia (Spain). Recently approved by the European Commission, in the framework of the EU Research and Innovation program H2020, the initiative is coordinated by the team at Poznan and will use emerging communication and marketing tools to facilitate partnerships within innovation ecosystems.
The Consortium aims to enhance the efficiency of how STPs and other innovation agencies attract innovative SMEs and increase interaction among stakeholders. The four consortium members will work using twinning+ methodology to make recommendations for communication, branding and marketing strategies to strengthen the position of innovation centers nationally and internationally as high value-added business support organisations.
